TOLK CAFE
Design project for a literary cafe located in a historical monastery building.
The aim was to emphasise the uniqueness of the architecture and create an attractive place for warm communication with friends, stylish business meetings, presentations, a place where you can sit comfortably with a book or laptop, enjoy aromatic coffee, atmosphere and life. Fundamentality and awareness were at the heart of the concept.
In the interior, the shape of a circle can be traced everywhere: the shapes of lamps, tables, roundness of chairs. The arches and vaults are also like a composite of a circle.
A lot of attention was given to the composition, which is symmetrical, clear and balanced.
The organization of the seating arrangements is very versatile and can also be easily transformed.
The choice of materials, rich black and bronze metal, is also not random: it maximizes the beauty and elegance of the old building brickwork.
Thoughtful lighting is multi-level, thanks to which it has been possible to emphasise the beauty of the vaults, textured walls and create a cozy, open atmosphere.
